Summer Must Haves

Summer is my absolute favorite time of the year. There is nothing better than a warm summer day when you have no obligations. Below are some essential items I love to use and have during this time of year.

Treats

No matter where you are or what you’re doing snacks are essential. One of my favorite treats to eat in the summer is Noosa Yoghurt. It’s a healthy alternative to ice cream and their fruit flavors are absolutely delicious. If I had to choose a favorite, I would go with their lemon yoghurt. Another fun treat is fruit popsicles. They are extremely easy to make and can help cool you down on a warm summer day; plus, they are healthy!

Health and Beauty

There are a couple of products that I use religiously in the summer months. The first one being a Physicians Formula Refreshment cucumber and bamboo eye de-puffer. This is a great daily product to use especially when you’re up late and then have to get up early the next morning. The formula gives your under eyes a cooling sensation, that in turn makes you feel more awake. Another product I tend to use a lot when I know I’m going to be spending a lot of time outdoors is a face sunscreen. It’s very important to protect your skin, especially your face. I use the Sun Bum Sunscreen Face Stick because it’s extremely easy to use and toss in my bag.

Accessories

In the summertime, I love to get fun bracelets to wear. There was a farmer’s market going on in Boulder, Colorado when I visited. That is where I was first introduced to Mountain Time Soap Shop. The company genuinely cares for the environment which pushed me to purchase their essential oil diffuser bracelet. Not only is the bracelet extremely cute but it also features cedar beads that absorb essential oils. I am also a big supporter of Divinity LA bracelets. The company is fueled by artisans in the LA area who genuinely care about the product being produced. This company also makes a large effort to support non-profit companies. I enjoy that the bracelets are themed to fit with the organization the money made will go towards.
