Autumn/Winter Must Haves

As the weather gets colder and the days get shorter there is nothing better than putting together an outfit that you can stand out in. Fall is the best season for fashion because there are endless amounts of layers to create a dynamic outfit. We have compiled a list of five current Fall trends that are must-haves for your closet:

Red is a color of power and dominance which is the perfect way to elevate your style this season. Designers are referring to this color as “Power Red.” It began to take over the runway with FendiMax Mara and Victoria Beckham. There are endless ways that you can style this color, pairing a red sweater with denim and black ankle boots or even pairing these IAMGIA pants with a plain white top.

Jackets are the ultimate statement piece. Puffers are the happy medium between keeping you warm and not taking over your whole outfit. You can wear them draped over your shoulders like Kim Kardashian, with a nice pair of joggers

Patent leather is a versatile statement piece for the Fall from a jacket, pants, or ankle boots. Since it is a great alternative to denim, it can be worn as a coat, with a hoodie, or you favorite tee. Stella McCartney even has a cruelty-free patent coat!

This 70’s plaid makes a statement because it doesn’t have the lumberjack and dark feels that the 90’s plaid gives off. It is very bright and vibrant with yellows and greens that are ideal for the fall.

Last but definitely not least, floral. Floral prints are usually associated with the summer but designers have flipped the script by using more oranges and dark purples in their floral prints for cooler fall days. These dark blooms are everywhere from Gucci to Miu Miu.

The trends for fall fashion are endless but these are five that we believe you need to get your hands on ASAP!
